Florida Region Supports ORT ArgentinaORT Argentina has grown into one of the country’s largest providers of education—and ORT’s third largest operation—since it opened its first school in 1942. Its two junior high schools and two high schools in Buenos Aires grant certificates in a broad range of subjects, including Science, Computing, Electronics, Business Administration, Media Studies and Music Production. Additionally, within the country, ORT's two technology institutes grant official diplomas in subjects ranging from Biotechnology, Food Technology, Tourism, Film and Television Production and more.

ORT Argentina's tradition of innovation has never been more evident than it is today. Expansion and Growth

In total, ORT's educational establishments in Argentina cater to almost 8,000 full and part-time Jewish students, and today over 80 percent of children who attend a Jewish high school in Buenos Aires are educated at ORT. With an enrollment of 2,260 in one high school and 1,800 students at another - both are over capacity.

ORT Technical School in Buenas Aries has almost completed the addition of a new science and technology center to add to the existing campus.  The new building will give the school more classrooms, laboratories  and workshops, allowing it to admit more students and provide them with the most advanced up-to-date education available. The new building is scheduled to open at the start of the new school year in March 2012. Classrooms and laboratories are available for naming opportunities.
